The Shop
This photo shows the front of the old building we own on the square that we refer to as The Shop. We bought the building as storage for our antique and craft store we ran across the square. We purchased the building a couple years ago from the American Legion.
It has not been used as a business for many years. However, there have been several businesses there in its long life. The oldest we know of is a post office at the turn of the century 1900s. The Holt County Museum has some very old pictures on their Facebook page. You can see their “then and now” pictures of the building The Places category.
