Meet The Greife Family
Meet the neighbors! The Greife family began in 2006 when Pat and April were married in September of that year. Both had been living in Oregon for a couple years prior to that. Pat is originally from O’Fallon, MO and April from Pickering, MO.
Pat is a paramedic for Nodaway County Ambulance in Maryville, MO and April runs a daycare out of their home. They have 3 daughters. Serenity is 14 (not pictured) and enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with friends. Kallie is 11 and likes to watch YouTube, hang out with friends and playing basketball and volleyball. The youngest is Aubrey. She is a lively 6 year old who likes being outside and playing with friends. She also likes catching bugs and finding fishing worms.
I asked the Greifes what they liked about living in Oregon. April said, “We love living here because of the small community life where your neighbors are more like family than neighbors and are willing to lend a helping hand.” I definitely agree with April on that!
There is a good chance you will see the Griefe family down at the ball field in the spring and summer. They both help coach little league and Pat volunteers as an umpire.
Thanks to the Greife family for being my first volunteers for The People category! Please let me know if you would like to participate. I would love to introduce the whole town!

The Word
Romans 8:28-30. 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
