Small Towns and Old Rusty Cars
Do country people really keep old rusty cars on their lawns? I ran across this question in an online forum recently. It made me laugh and stop to read some of the answers. I was a little surprised to see so many of the answers were yesses!
It made me think of this old car I took a photo of awhile back. The car hides in a ditch outside of town in the middle of nowhere, and has been there awhile. It was not on someone’s front lawn.
Many of the answers to the question of the rusty cars were practical ones. The home owners were fixing them up. Or they were saving them for parts. But some answers were a little more fun. One guy says it was better than a gnome. And another says that city people would do the same thing if they had room.
Despite the fact that the old rusty car question turned out true on many occasions, there are a lot of myths about small town living out there that aren’t true. I would love to hear some of your favorite myths. Or even some fun facts that are actually true! Leave a comment here or over on our socials.

The Word
Isaiah 40:31. 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
